AMC (AMERICAN MATHEMATICS COMPETITIONS)
Our institution strives for our students to have a good level of mathematics. The American Mathematics Competitions (AMC), organized within this framework, is the most prestigious and popular mathematics competition in the USA. This competition includes a series of tests that measure problem-solving skills of secondary school students. American Mathematics Competitions organized by the American Mathematical Institute (MAA) in various parts of the world are held in Iraq every year around the same time.
AMC 8 is an exam where students have the opportunity to see their math levels. 635 students participated in the AMC 8 organized in 7 provinces of Iraq. A total of 196 students from 8 different schools took part in the competition organized by Ronaki Duhok Education Company in Ishik College.
AMC 10 is a middle school mathematics exam consisting of 25 questions that can be solved by the concepts of algebra and geometry. The total time for the exam is 75 minutes. The examination has two conditions. The first is to be in the 10th grade or below; the second is to be under the age of 17.5. All students who meet these requirements are eligible to take the exam.
AMC 12 is a multiple-choice high school mathematics exam with 25 questions that can be solved by pre-algebraic concepts. The total time for the exam is 75 minutes. The examination has two conditions. The first is to be in the 12th grade or below; the second is to be under the age of 19.5. All students who meet these requirements are eligible to take the exam.
